Climate Types
South Africa has an arid climate overall, but depending on where you are, there can be multiple micro-climates.  It's coastlines have green vegetation with rains that keep the coastlines green throughout the year. In the South-Western part of it, the climate is Mediterranean with winds blowing constantly all year (South Africa).

Seasonality
In Cape Town, the annual average temperature is 17 degrees Celsius.  The rainfall averages around 18.7 inches (Cape Town Magazine).  In Johannesburg, the average temperature is 61 degrees Fahrenheit and precipitation is 28.7 annually (Weatherbase).  Compared to Honolulu, Johannesburg is about 16.2 degrees cooler in Fahrenheit and the precipitation is 6.7 inches more.  The seasonality of the area is mild and does not have huge differences between summer and winter.

  1. Your country's climate isn't too different from mine. Brazil, my country is pretty similar to Honolulu. It appears South Africa is a bit wetter than Brazil. Your country appears to be a bit cooler than Brazil as well, but the two countries aren't extremely different from each other.
