Location - South Africa is located at the bottom tip of Africa and is surrounded by the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.

Size - Compared to the United States, South Africa is only 5.8% of the area of the US.

Terrain - South Africa consists of a desert, plateau, hills, and a coastline.  Two major rivers are Limpopo and the Orange river.
